This Privacy Policy explains how iQuiz (“we”, “us”, “our”), the developer of the iQuiz trivia game application (the “App”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the App. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
The App is developed and operated by iQuiz. For any privacy question or request you can contact us at giladbigel100@gmail.com. iQuiz is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information — when you register with email/password we collect your username, email address, and password. When you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address from your Google account.
- Profile photo (optional) — if you choose to set one, we collect the image you take with the camera or pick from your gallery.
- In-game content — league names you create, and other text you enter in the App.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device identifier — an Android device ID, used to bind your account to your device for security (one account per device) and to prevent abuse.
- Advertising ID — the Google Advertising ID, used to serve ads and measure them (see Ads below). You can reset or limit it in your device settings.
- Approximate country — derived from your mobile network, SIM, or device language settings. This is a country-level signal only; we do not collect GPS or precise location. It is used to show questions ranked for your country and to set the app language.
- Device & technical data — device model, operating-system version, app version, language/locale, time zone, and IP address (from network requests and server logs).
- Gameplay & progress — game results, scores, answers, achievements, challenges, coin balance, boosts, and league membership.
- Usage analytics — how you use the App, such as sessions, screens viewed, buttons tapped, time spent, and ad interactions. We use this to understand and improve the App.
2.3 Purchases
If you buy coins or a premium (no-ads) subscription, the payment is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive a confirmation of the purchase and the product bought; we do not receive or store your credit-card or payment-method details.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and let you play single-player and multiplayer games.
- To save your progress, scores, achievements, coins, and leagues across sessions and devices.
- To operate leaderboards and private leagues (your username, avatar, and score are shown to other players in shared leaderboards and leagues).
- To select and rank questions relevant to your country and language.
- For security, device binding, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To show ads to free users and to process purchases for paying users.
- To analyze usage and improve the App’s features, content, and performance.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Ads
For users on the free version, the App shows ads through AppLovin MAX mediation, which may include the following advertising partners: Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network, ironSource, Mintegral, Pangle (ByteDance), and Vungle (Liftoff). These partners may use the Advertising ID and similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads.
For users identified as children, and where required by law, we configure advertising to serve non-personalized ads and to comply with Google Play Families and applicable children’s-privacy rules (see “Children’s Privacy”). Premium (paid) users do not see ads.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us run the App, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the App.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see below) or ask us to delete your data, we remove your personal data from our systems, except where we must keep limited records to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction — you can view and edit your profile in the App, or ask us for a copy of your data.
- Delete your account — in the App, open Settings → Delete Account. This deletes your account and associated personal data. You can also email us to request deletion.
- Advertising ID — you can reset it or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
- Withdraw consent — you can stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
- Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights. Contact us to exercise them.
8. Children’s Privacy
iQuiz may be used by children, and we take extra care to protect them, in line with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Google Play Families Policy, and other applicable laws.
- We do not knowingly collect more personal information from a child than is reasonably needed to play the game.
- Children are shown non-personalized ads only, and our advertising is configured to comply with the Google Play Families Policy.
- We do not require a child to disclose more information than necessary, and we do not condition participation on providing extra personal data.
- Parents and guardians can review the personal information we hold about their child, ask us to delete it, and refuse to allow further collection. To do so, email us at giladbigel100@gmail.com and we will respond promptly.
- We recommend that a parent or guardian be involved when a child creates an account.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without the involvement of a parent or guardian, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our servers and secure storage of passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in countries other than your own. By using the App you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide a notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
